Appointment policy

All clinic services, including medicine pickups, require an appointment. Due to the large volume of appointment requests, confirmation may take up to 48 hours. Please note: if you are making a wellness appointment for multiple pets, please email appointments@sopines.org instead of booking online. ​

Why is routine vet care important?

Just like with human medicine, it is often easier, more comfortable, and less costly to prevent - rather than treat or cure - injury or sickness. Vaccines and parasite prevention are easy, affordable, and can potentially save your pet's life. Regular veterinary checkups help keep your pet healthy by monitoring their condition over time. This helps our vet catch any changes to your pet's wellbeing, and address any concerns in a timely manner.

When you book a wellness appointment at Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic, your pet will receive a comprehensive nose-to-tail exam, and our dedicated staff will discuss necessary vaccines and preventative treatments based on your pet's lifestyle. Our veterinary staff strive to maintain the best quality of life and health for your pet. 

Healthy pet Services

We aim to provide low-cost healthy pet services to pet owners in our community. This includes lifesaving preventative care such as vaccines, microchipping, flea/heartworm prevention and more! Because we are not a full-service veterinary care provider, we may refer more severe cases to your local full-service vet.

Wellness Packages

Want to get the most out of your annual checkup? We offer wellness packages that include core vaccines and basic care items at a discounted rate.

microchipping

We offer microchipping for $15 through Michelson Found Animals, a nonprofit organization that lets you to register and update your pet's microchip info for free. 

Medicine Pick-ups

We offer medicine pick-up appointments for current patients that have been seen by our vet in the last year. If your pet in under one year old, we ask that you bring them to the appointment to get an updated weight.

nail trims

Does your pet need a pawdicure? We offer nail trim appointments for $10, no exam needed! 

Dental Procedures

Routine dental cleanings can go a long way in establishing good dental health for your dog. We provide low cost dental cleanings and teeth extractions. 

Heartworm TReatment

Heartworms are transmitted through mosquitos and without prevention, even indoor pets are at risk. We offer a low-cost treatment option for heartworm positive dogs. All heartworm treatments must be booked over the phone at 601-544-5678.

Southern Pines Healthy Pet Clinic is not a full-service veterinary clinic, and as such, cannot assist with severe or emergency situations. In case of emergency, we recommend your local full service vet. For after-hours emergencies, we recommend E-Vets of Hattiesburg.
